What stays in your browser

Saved homes and saved searches live in your browser's local storage, on this device. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them. To remove them, press Remove on the Saved page or clear this site's data in your browser. A saved item does not follow you to another device.

What you send us through a form

This site has four forms. Each one goes straight from your browser to the form service named below, and that service passes it on to us.

• Book a tour: your name, email, optional phone and note, the date and time you would like, and the listing you are asking about.
• What would your place sell for?: your home's address and your email.
• Contact: your name, email and message.
• Newsletter, if this site shows one: your email.

We use this only to answer you and to do the work you asked for. We do not sell it.

Who receives it

The agent you asked for, or the agent who works that neighborhood, and the staff who help them. We share it with anyone else only when you ask us to, such as a lender or a title company, or when the law requires it.

Map requests

The maps on this site load their tiles and fonts from OpenFreeMap. When a map shows, your browser asks OpenFreeMap for the part of the map on your screen, and that request carries your IP address, as any web request does. We send no name, email or saved home with it. The map does not ask for your location. If you would rather not make these requests, every home's address and every neighborhood's distance are also written on the page. The directions link on a home's page opens Google Maps, and Google receives the home's location only if you click it.

Hosting
